‘Humans’ Season 3 Release Date News: Show Started Filming in September in Time for 2018 Premiere

Edward Leano reports: “Humans” start to make progress today as the U.K. sci-fi show began filming on Monday, Sep. 18. The show was renewed by AMC earlier this March, and it is set to return in 2018.
Right on cue, show creator Sam Vincent took to social media to announce the first day of shooting for the third season run of “Humans.” He also took the opportunity to show off a mug designed by a series superfan as well, in his post to Twitter on Monday.

On the start of the weekday, the crew of “Humans” started shooting their “Biggest, boldest series yet!” as announced by Vincent. “Best of luck to the #1 cast & crew in TV (mug by superfan @ns_nissy),” he continued.
The third season of the sci-fi show is expected to air next year, with a more specific date being expected in the coming weeks. “Humans” season 3 will run for eight episodes, as announced earlier in AMC’s press release last March.
The show explores the idea of “synths,” artificial humans augmented by hyper-advanced technology set in the present time.
