Pierogi moons, rubber duckie comets and spewing ice balls: We have some very strange neighbors among the myriad planets, moons and objects that circle our sun. Scientific American editors Lee Billings and Michael Lemonick pick the pasta shaped moons Pan and Atlas, the football moon Haumea, comet 67P, the tidal heating of europa, Io, and enceladus, the methane rain of Titan as the most bizarre objects floating around in our solar system.
