Not among the very best films of the director, there is nevertheless great scenes, a criminal running through umbrellas, windmills, a plane crashing into water…
Considered by a few as pure propaganda film (Hitler’s right arm Goebbels telling about the film “A masterpiece of propaganda, a first-class production which no doubt will make a certain impression upon the broad masses of the people in enemy countries.”)
