SpaceX: Successful launch from historic Pad 39A

On Sunday SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket from the same launch pad Apollo 11 used on the first lunar landing flight in 1969, and the pad used for the first Space Shuttle launch in 1981.

Although much of this important achievement was obscured from view by clouds, eight minutes after the launch, the first stage of SpaceX’s rocket returned to Kennedy Space Center and landed successfully on a circular pad just a couple of hundred feet across.

Elon — you’re wrong about Mars, but you do make awesome rockets.  LET’S (get off this) ROCK!
